When The F*ck Did This Happen?

Jesus Hernandez, I nearly fell off my pedestal when I saw this, but apparently New Kids On The Block have launched a comeback, releasing a new album and currently touring the United States.

The original “boy band”, their success in the late 80′s and early 90′s paved the way for the Backstreet Boys and Nsync to further infatuate young girls and slightly impressionable young boys with their melodic voices, synchronised dance moves and impeccably well-kept hairdos.

I remember during my high school years trying to recruit members for my New Kids On The Block tribute band back in the late-nineties, before I was beaten up behind the recycling shed and told to listen to Nirvana and Smahing Pumpkins instead.

Anyhoo, New Kids On The Block, or “NKOTB” if you’re cool, released their album last month called “The Block”, and it’s apparently doing phenomenally well in the States, selling bucketloads due to a massive demand by horny soccer moms who grew up with Jordan, Jonathan, Joey, Donnie and Danny.

There single “Summertime” is a pretty catchy song, I had actually heard this on the radio before but didn’t realise this was them. Take a listen. You may in fact, shit yourself at how awesome it is.
