It was a typical Summer’s Saturday, and I was busy wrestling with The Girlfriend, trying to pin her down on the commundal bed. Just then, I felt a tugging at my sleeve, which surprised me, as I was under the impression that The Girlfriend’s hands were firmly bound by the duct tape I had used.

To my initial relief, and then annoyance, I turned to see the smiling figure of Some Other Guy, looking rather pleased with himself.

“Some Other Guy, how the f**k did you get in here?” I enquired earnestly, as I was pretty sure I set the electrified fence to “Kill Mode”.

“Your front door was locked, so I climbed in through the kitchen window,” he said matter of factly.

“Oh, okay. But wait, wasn’t that window closed?” I asked, as I remembered shutting it minutes earlier.

“Ja, I actually had to break it to climb in. By the way, I tore my shirt in the process, so you can pay me back for it whenever you’re ready.”

“Fair enough”, I mused, “but the question still remains, what the f**k are you doing here, and what is that shit on your top lip?”

It was then that I noticed the shit on his top lip, which was why I brought it up, as I am not a man to keep things bottled up.

“Well, it’s Movember!” he said excitedly, and then told me about the internet campaign where you grow a moustache during the month of November, to raise awareness for men’s health. I didn’t know we needed to raise awareness for Men’s Health magazine, I thought it was something that people just bought every month, as it often has great articles on getting perfect abs in 8 days, or getting your spouse to orgasm after 3 minutes, thus giving you more time to watch the rugby.
