Poof. Gone.
Not Christian Bale mind you. I am of course referring to the comic book Batman who, after 70 years, will apparently be killed off soon. I know they did this with Superman a while back, but then decided to bring him back to life. It’s all a bit like a soap opera, like that show from the 80’s, Loving? When Jonathan is a bad guy and then Father Jim Vochek kills him, and then Jonathan comes back but now he’s Keith and he’s a good guy? I think Batman could have a similar vibe.

‘Batman RIP’ will see “the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman”, according to Grant Morrison. There are rumours that Batman will suffer a gruesome end when his sidekick Robin goes over to “the dark side” and destroys him in a terrible betrayal. Batman, alter ego of Bruce Wayne a wealthy industrialist, operates in the American Gotham City. Others speculate that Wayne may either retire from his duties or be killed by a mystery villain known as the Black Glove. His fate will be revealed in the latest issue of DC Comic’s Batman, published on 26 November. [via] |
Well there you have it. Interesting that Robin will be the one to kill him. I was never really into Robin’s vibe. In fact, I will go so far as to say that Robin is a doos.
Which is NOT a term I just throw around lightly. So there you go.

I wasn’t going to say anything about how disturbing your intimate knowledge of the plot of a dead 90’s soap opera was, but then I thought “Aaah, fuck it”.
@Kerryn,
Interesting that you’re equally familiar with the plot that I mentioned.
I am sensing another “Loving” fan in my midst.
