It’s derived from ‘parental units’, which makes a bit more sense. Hope that helps to relieve some of the pressure exerted by cool lingo on your brain. What will i read if some chop’s diction causes your head to explode?!

I agree wholeheartedly – why cant they just ask “So, how’re your parents/folks?” … Simple…. not so??? First time I’m writing on someones blog. I wouldn’t even know how to go about making my own “Blog” page .. is that what it’s called??? If you have a moment to spare and can tell me I would be thrilled … if not ….. well, what the hey!! We live on a farm and I have loads of time (suddenly) to do …. I dunno!!! Soo. …. this sounds like fun – especially seeing as I love writing – anything, whatever comes up in the old grey matter – not that I’m old, might I add – just a phrase, you do understand??
