President Obama Inauguration Speech Generator

Pretend You’re Writing His Speech

As you should no doubt be aware, today is Barack Obama”s official inauguration as the president of the United States of America. We’re big fans of Obama, and have featured him here on countless occasions (The Obama Rick Astley video, Barack Obama Facts, Obama’s CSI Miami vibe etc)

Fanfare for the inauguration has reached fever pitch, with tickets being sold for up to $40 000, which is like R13 million in 50c coins. Or something like that, maths has never really been my strong point.

Anyhoo, check out this cool Barack Obama Inauguration Speech Generator which, surprisingly enough, generates a “fake” inauguration speech. You just enter a few nouns, adjectives and verbs, and the generator does the rest. Here is one that I did:

My fellow Americans, today is a purple day. You have shown the world that “hope” is not just another word for “smurf”, and that “change” is not only something we can believe in again, but something we can actually f**k.

Today we celebrate, but let there be no mistake – America faces hairy and smelly challenges like never before. Our economy is sticky. Americans can barely afford their mortgages, let alone have enough money left over for Jameson’s. Our healthcare system is pretentious. If your testicle is sick and you don’t have insurance, you might as well call a garden gnome. And America’s image overseas is tarnished like a jammy bastard. But shagging together we can right this ship, and set a course for Cape Town.

Finally, I must thank my favourite family, my slutty campaign volunteers, but most of all, I want to thank Kurt Darren for making this historic occasion possible. Of course, I must also thank you, President Bush, for years of shagging the American people. Without your loud efforts, none of this would have been possible.

Ha ha, that made chuckle a little bit. Try it out for yourself by clicking here.

Toodles.

    Awesome. Just what I needed to take my mind of my hangover.

    @Rox,

    Yep, I think my speech can best be described as “statesmanlike”.
