Songsmith By Microsoft = Shocker

Sometimes when companies come out with new products, they produce what we in the industry call “promo videos”, in the hope of selling the new concept to the public. These usually need to be pretty awesome, in order to win everyone over.

The guys at Microsoft however, decided to do things a little differently when they launched their new music making application called Songsmith.

I’m not sure if they were trying to take the piss, but this could quite easily be the worst promo video ever made.

From the strangely effeminate husband to the obnoxious little blonde girl, to the annoying background music, take a look at this train wreck of an advert, and see for yourself.

I think I speak for all of us when I say, “What the f**k was that?”
