We Have A Quick Recap.
Feeling a little under the weather on this Monday morning. Seems the flu has been stalking me like a silent ninja assassin these last few days, and decided to attack me with a couple of well placed shurikens over the weekend.
I managed to dodge the first one, but the second one hit me square in the upper thigh, just above the part I regularly ask The Girlfriend to rub when I’m feeling vulnerable, but which she always politely declines.
Anyhoo, so the 2009 SA Blog Awards was held at Chevelle on Friday night, which is a club just across the road from The Assembly. So anyway – sorry what? – no, no – Chevelle is the club across the road from The Assembly, not “Friday night”. Christ, are you serious? No, you were trying to be funny? Okay, that’s fine, just don’t do it again. I’m pretty medicated right now, and I don’t have a lot of patience for this kind of shit. Can I go on with my story now? Okay, thanks.
So as I was saying, I went and attended the whole award vibe thing, which was pretty interesting. Strangely enough, I didn’t seem to win any awards this year, but one of the judges lately confided to me that my sheer awesomeness would have meant that I’d have to win everything, which would have understandably spoilt the event a little bit as a spectacle.
Seth Rotherham cleaned up most of the awards, but here with a complete list of some of the other winners:

See everyone again next year.
