Not really keen on picnicking either, as due to my long legs I find it difficult to sit comfortably on anything besides a leather chair. Haven’t really tried fishing yet, but it’s on my to do list.

My ideal sun-related activity would probably be sitting in my lounge, staring out the window at the tourists who swim across the road from me, but that’s only when The Girlfriend isn’t around.

I used to go to the beach often, but that was when I used to surf. The thought of just going to one of the local beaches to lie for hours is rather silly - biltong is the right way to put it! I would much rather do something worthwhile in the sun if the sun is a required factor, a picnic at Kirstenbosch or fishing on a river bank is far more worth while in my opinion. What you rate?
