I also have a tendency to correct their spelling, grammar, and punctuation before insulting their intelligence. I do however use gaming abbreviations at times, there's a difference between an acronym and idiocy. On the other hand though perhaps I'm a bit off a stickler for correct language use considering the fact that I speak with a "BBC english" accent.
